DTF Printers

A direct-to-film (DTF) printer does exactly what its name suggests: it prints directly onto a PET film using water-based inks and a special adhesive powder applied with a DTF Powder Shaker. The film is then cured in an oven to bond the adhesive to the ink, ensuring a smooth and even layer. The design is heat-transferred onto fabric using a heat press, producing durable, detailed, and vibrant prints. Unlike other methods limited to certain fabrics, DTF printers can handle various materials, including polyester, fleece, nylon, classic cotton, leather, silk and more. They offer versatility, quality, and ease of use, making them ideal for small businesses, startups, and hobbyists.
