Position Overview
Account Manager
The Account Manager plays a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing our relationships with existing customers. Combining elements of Inside Sales, Customer Service, and Account Retention, this role requires expert communication skills, a customer-centric approach, and a knack for cultivating meaningful relationships.
This role is full-time, M-F 8A-5P, 100% in person at our Rolling Meadows, IL corporate office, reporting to the General Manager of Commercial Sales and Marketing.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Maintenance
Serve as primary point of contact for assigned accounts, developing strong connections and understanding their evolving needs
Customer Satisfaction
Proactively engage with customers to ensure their expectations are met or exceeded, and consistently strive for excellence
Business Relationship Building
Cultivate long-term relationships with clients through regular communication, personalized interactions, and proactive problem-solving
Retention Strategies
Devise and implement strategies to enhance client retention, leveraging innovative techniques and creative solutions to sustain and grow existing accounts
Revenue Growth
Drive sales by identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to introduce additional products or services.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Collaborate with internal teams such as Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Technical Support, and Product Management to address client concerns, optimize customer experience, and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling
Continuous Improvement
Stay current on industry trends, client feedback, and market dynamics to refine strategies and enhance the overall experience with IT Supplies
Metrics Tracking
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to client satisfaction, retention rates, and revenue growth, taking proactive measures to address any differences from targets
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
Proven experience in client-facing roles, preferably in Inside Sales or Account Management
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a keen ability to establish trust and rapport with diverse clientele
Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivering creative solutions tailored to individual client needs
Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs
Experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a proactive and adaptable approach to challenges

Position Overview
Technical Support & Installation Specialist
The Technical Support and Installation Specialist is an important part of our team based in Rolling Meadows, IL. Most of your time will be in the field traveling to customer sites performing equipment installations and training end-users. This role is our “boots on the ground” and is responsible for building positive relationships with customers, peers, manufacturers, and vendors. This will be done by living out our Company’s Purpose and making customer satisfaction and technical performance your priority.
This role is full-time based in our Rolling Meadows, IL Corporate Office, 90% travel, 10% in-office
Key Responsibilities
Installation of large format printers and associated equipment and software
Training customers on the use of installed equipment
Traveling to customer locations throughout the US
Assist in maintaining our Solutions Center at Rolling Meadows Corporate Office
Proficient in all new technology included in our product offering
Respond to customer inquiries and technical questions in a timely manner
Report installation details to our Operations Teams
Perform demonstrations in our Solutions Center
Create sample prints
Coordination, set up, and staff trade shows
Coordinate customer installation dates and details
Create media profiles
Working with Solution Center Manager to ensure all equipment is demo-ready
Create how-to videos
Calibrate printers
Unboxing, set up, and testing equipment
Maintaining a professional appearance at all times
Efficient management and detailed logging of your activity calendar
Continuous learning of new technology
Possessing technical expertise on color management, RIP software, and print production workflow
Obtaining certifications on equipment/software IT Supplies will offer
Position Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent
At least 21 years old
Ability to lift and carry at least 75 pounds
Valid driver’s license with appropriate insurance
Good driving record maintained throughout employment
Air and/or car travel with overnight stays often
Ability to rent a car and qualify for our corporate auto insurance
Some experience in an installation role or customer service
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift, carry, and transport heavy equipment, parts, and boxes weighing 75+ pounds
Frequent and prolonged standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching
Frequent travel via car and/or plane
Preferred Experience & Skills
3 years of experience in an installation role
College degree in computer or technology field
Experience installing wide-format printers
Problem solver and constant learner
Self-motivated and highly organized
knowledge of RIP software
