Position Overview - Complete Application
The Account Manager plays a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing our relationships with existing customers. Combining elements of Inside Sales, Customer Service, and Account Retention, this role requires expert communication skills, a customer-centric approach, and a knack for cultivating meaningful relationships.
This role is full-time, M-F 8A-5P, 100% in person at our Rolling Meadows, IL corporate office reporting to the General Manager of Commercial Sales and Marketing.
Client Relationship Maintenance
Serve as primary point of contact for assigned accounts, developing strong connections and understanding their evolving needs
Customer Satisfaction
Proactively engage with customers to ensure their expectations are met or exceeded, consistently strive for excellence
Business Relationship Building
Cultivate long-term relationships with clients through regular communication, personalization interactions, and proactive problem-solving
Retention Strategies
Devise and implement strategies to enhance client retention, leveraging innovative techniques and creative solutions to sustain and grow existing accounts
Revenue Growth
Drive sales by identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to introduce additional products or services.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Collaborate with internal teams such as Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Technical Support and Product Management to address client concerns, optimize customer experience, and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling
Continuous Improvement
Stay current on industry trends, client feedback, and market dynamics to refine strategies and enhance the overall experience with IT Supplies
Metrics Tracking
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to client satisfaction, retention rates, and revenue growth, taking proactive measures to address any differences from targets
