The Graphtec CE8000-ASF is a highly efficient automatic sheet feeding system designed to streamline high-volume cutting operations. Simply print sheets on a small-format printer, load them into the feeder, and let the system automatically feed each sheet for contour and perforation cutting.

High-Capacity Automatic Sheet Feeding

The automatic feeder can hold up to 150 sheets, depending on media thickness, and feeds sheets at an average interval of approximately 4 seconds. Additional sheets can be loaded without stopping the cutting process, helping maintain continuous production for high-volume jobs.

The CE8000-ASF also supports unattended operation, allowing operators to load media and let the system continue feeding and cutting with minimal supervision.

Automatic Print, Feed & Cut Workflow

The CE8000-ASF creates a streamlined workflow from printing through finished cutting. Print sheets using a small-format printer, load the media into the automatic feeder, and the system automatically feeds each sheet into the CE8000-40 for precise contour and perforation cutting.

Registration Mark Sensing

The CE8000-ASF can read up to four registration marks on the first sheet it feeds, then continue processing subsequent sheets while reading an optional one or two registration marks for precise alignment and cutting accuracy.

Variable Data & Serialization

Graphtec Studio 2 software supports variable data and serialization processing, allowing users to produce high-volume customized labels and other printed materials with unique information for each piece.

Adjustable Output Tray

The CE8000-ASF features an adjustable output tray that can be positioned at a 45-degree angle or flat to accommodate different materials and provide flexible output handling.

Touch Screen and Mechanical Keys

The CE8000-40 features a new touch panel and mechanical keys for intuitive operation. The updated menu structure uses icons to simplify navigation, while Blind Touch Operation allows operators to interact with the cutter while keeping their eyes on the media as it feeds.

New Blade Holder & Tool Compartment

The improved blade holder makes changing tools and adjusting blade position easier with a stopper that slides forward and back. A new tool compartment features a magnetic base, allowing it to be repositioned or removed when needed.

Network & USB Offline Operation

The CE8000 provides multiple connection options, including a standard Ethernet port and optional wireless LAN for flexible installation. A secondary USB port allows jobs to be uploaded directly from a thumb drive and cut without a computer.

DataLink Barcode System

The DataLink Barcode System helps streamline production when processing numerous jobs. Barcodes can be generated as part of the design and used to identify cutting data, access the appropriate file, adjust cutting settings, and initiate the cutting process automatically.

DataLink can work with RIP software and printers as well as Cutting Master 5 and Graphtec Studio 2, helping reduce manual job handling and production errors.

E-mail Notifications

The CE8000 can send completion and error notifications by e-mail, providing convenient status updates during production.

ARMS 9.0 Advanced Registration Mark Sensing

The CE8000 features Graphtec's new and improved ARMS 9.0 Advanced Registration Mark Sensing System for print-and-cut applications. Faster registration mark reading helps increase productivity, while the DataLink Barcode System supports hands-free job identification and processing.

Contour & Die Cutting

Separate tool positions for contour and die cutting help extend blade and cutting-strip life when producing decals, labels, cards, and other graphics that need to be cut and popped out from sheet media.

Software

The CE8000 includes the Cutting Master 5 plug-in for Adobe Illustrator and CorelDRAW Graphic Suite, as well as Graphtec Studio 2 software for designing and cutting graphics. Software supports both PC and Mac workflows.
