GF 227 WallMark® Lite is a 3.4 mil matte white calendared vinyl film with a specially formulated microsphere removable acrylic adhesive and 90# layflat liner. The repositionable adhesive allows for easy graphic adjustment during installation and superior removability from normal wall surfaces. The 90# tight release liner provides excellent stability for processing with solvent, UV curable, and latex digital inks commonly used in wide-format digital printing.

Is GF 227 just for walls?
GF 227 is designed for wall murals, decals, and graphics on most types of smooth painted interior walls, including most flat, semi-gloss, and gloss paint finishes. It also works well on glass and other smooth surfaces. If applying to new paint, consult the paint manufacturer for proper curing conditions before application.

Does GF have any recommendations for surface prep and graphic application?

Are there any concerns with contour cutting letters or decals?
GF 227 is suitable for cutting shapes and letters, as well as larger posters and decals applied to wall surfaces. Heavy ink saturation or solvent inks may require an unprinted border around the graphics to help prevent edge curling or lifting. When available, use GF ICC Print Profiles and follow your printer manufacturer's recommendations for off-gassing and ink curing before cutting.

When paneling larger jobs, do I use overlaps or butt-seams with this product?
Overlapping seams are recommended for panel jobs with GF 227. The soft adhesive and thinner film are not ideal for butt-seam applications. GF 227 has approximately 93% opacity, so some minor image or graphic bleed-through at overlaps is expected.
