ClearStar ClearShield Type C Coatings

ClearShield® Type C is the ideal coating for Giclee canvas applications. ClearShield Type C exhibits the flexibility required for stretching canvas with no cracking of the clear coat. It is formulated to work on micro porous and porous ink jet receptive layers. This Canvas Coating reduces or eliminates pinholes normally encountered when applying Liquid Laminates to ink jet coated canvas. ClearShield Liquid Laminates are formulated for water resistant canvas only and is designed for use with pigment-based inks. ClearShield Type C Coating can be applied with most application techniques including automated equipment. Water resistant canvas applications (highly flexible). Also suitable for micro porous ink jet receptive substrates to help reduce or eliminate pinholes. Use all techniques, including most automated equipment.
